LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

I'm very proud to welcome you to our updated ITA-MED's web site. This web site not only demonstrates our products, but offers a new philosophy for your health care as well.
  • Why do we start to care for our health only after we've lost it?
    At ITA-MED, we believe the best way to become healthy is to remain healthy.

We see our quality products not just as remedies for the ill, but as part of a larger plan for living well. We believe in health maintenance and injury prevention.
You don't have to be sick or injured to benefit from ITA-MED's products. I have perfectly healthy legs, but I wear our graduated compression men's socks any time I have to take a long airplane flight, or when I know I'll be on my feet all day. At the end of the day, my feet don't ache, they aren't swollen and I have a lot of energy. That's because the support socks improve circulation and prevent fatigue.

The same principle applies to our line of back supports and sports-medical products: don't wait until you're in pain, take control of your health while you still have it.

Officially incorporated in 1992, ITA-MED is a young, vibrant company with a strong global focus. We are proud to be doing business not only in the U.S., but also on many continents. We export about 35% of our production, mainly to Eastern Europe (including Russia), the Middle East and Latin America.
